"At thirty years old, my husband left me and with him vanished my job, home, and future. I was devastated, ashamed, and most of all - terrified. I had built my entire world and identity around my relationship, and now, without it, I felt lost. At my lowest moment, all I wanted was to believe that I would come out of this happier, stronger, and better off. But I didn’t know anyone who had been through what I was going through, or could relate to how I felt. I believe there is power in sharing our stories - especially the difficult ones. I wrote mine so that it might help anyone who feels invisible to feel seen, make anyone who feels alone feel heard, and inspire anyone who feels lost to find their their own magic. "
